Taylor Swift's eighth album folklore contains 16 songs and moves back to her roots, acoustic and country music genre. Each song and the album title are stylized in lowercase letters. My three favorite songs out of this album are "the 1", "betty" and "the last great american dynasty"; besides, "august" and "illicit affairs" are also great!
I am going to start with "betty", and translate "august" later, which is related to "betty". The melody of "betty" gives me the feeling of happily playing on the swings on the great grassland. With the harmonica accompaniment, I feel like enjoying the simple summer love. However, the song involves the love triangle. "betty", "august", and "cardigan", these 3 songs explore a love triangle from all 3 people's perspectives. "betty" is told from a male perspective about a teenage boy attempting to apologize to Betty, whom he cheated on with someone else.
